Description
We are looking for an experienced SQL DBA with experience of multiple SQL versions (2) to advise on the set up and configuration of various SQL databases which are used for a SSIS based data warehouse with an aim of advising on an overall performance improvement strategy. This is a 3 month contract and focus areas will include identifying issues with performance on different versions, index strategy, deciphering explain plans and forcing fixed explain plans.This is a remote role. Please note maximum rate of £325 per day
Experience must include administrating SQL 2012, 2016 and beyond

Advanced Index Performance
Forcing fixed explain plans
Incremental DWH loads
SQL performance tools - eg SpotLight, Redgate SQL monitor and experience in discerning value from them - (ie spotting issues with I/O, memory and cpu and suggesting appropriate fixes/changes accordingly)
Experience with AX Dynamics would be an advantage
