3rd Line Server Engineer - 3 Month Contract - Stoke-on-Trent/Remote - Inside IR35
A 3rd line Server Engineer/Systems Engineer is required on a contract basis to work with an established NHS Trust to support and maintain their infrastructure estate.
Since the COVID pandemic, the NHS has been under immense pressure to mobilise their staff and upgrade their systems to ensure they can continue to operate as efficiently as possible. This role is essential to ensure they continue to operate at maximum momentum and is a fantastic way to get involved with the NHS and do you part to help.
60-70% of the role will be based remotely with limited visits to the office when required.
Responsibilities:
As well as being one of the main points of escalation from the 1st and 2nd line support; Resolving IT infrastructure-related incidents, service requests and problems in a timely and efficient manner in line with Business requirements.
Undertaking IT infrastructure-related problem diagnosis, implementing problem resolution or prevention measures as appropriate.
Participating in disaster recovery activities as required
You will also act as an implementation Engineer, working on projects to upgrade systems and migrating Servers.
Key Skills:
- Windows Server 2012
- Exchange
- Office 365 (O365)
- SQL Server 2008, 2012R2, 2016 & 2017
- Apache experience would be desirable
The duration of the contract would be for an initial 3 months, however there is a strong chance of renewal based on the scale of this current project
