We are seeking a Service Transition Manager to work as the glue between Operations (Support) and Programme (Delivery) team. Reporting to Operations Lead. This individual must have service transition experience on public sector accounts and/or cloud migration projects
Skills
- ITIL practitioner
- Service transition experience on public sector and cloud migration projects
- MS Office
- Excellent communication, stake holder management & co-ordination skills
- Cloud Technical understanding
- Document management system awareness (Confluence, Sharepoint)
- Agile process understanding
Responsibilties:
- Understand the existing (As-is) operations environment
- Work with delivery team to understand the To-Be IT ecosystem
- Analyse and capture support requirements for To-be IT Create and implement service transition roadmap
- Attend delivery agile ceremonies and provide necessary support transition input
- Own and act on support transition epics & user stories
- Provide necessary support on other epics & user stories related to service transition
- Attend change approval forums
- Work closely with support teams to capture support requirements and build associated artefacts
- Work operations team to define and build end-to-end support model for to-be ecosystem
- Work with delivery & operations to define and build transition period support model and post transition hyper care (temporary) model
- Update delivery and support management with progress and forecast
- Create, update and present artefacts for the service transition
- Set up and manage support transition workshops/meetings
- Collect, record and present support transition artefacts
