DevOps Platform Engineer
Whitehall Resources require a DevOps Platform Engineer to work with a client based in Essex, working remotely for now.
Role and Task description:
This role requires a professional who is well experienced and knowledgeable in cloud technology especially AWS. They must be innovative, competent and comfortable in challenging the status quo.
The suitable candidate must be highly proficient in the use of:
* Jenkins
* Varnish
* Artifactory
* Swarm
* Docker
* Harshicorp vault
* Terraform (0.11 and 0.12)
* AWS (Most of AWS including ECS,EKS)
* Python (2 and 3)
* Groovy (for jenkinsfiles)
* Jenkins scripted and declarative pipelines
* Ansible (2.2 and 2.8)
* Ansible Vault
* Linux tools
Desirable Technical Skills:
* Object Oriented programming, DDD, TDD, EDA
Mandatory Business Skills:
* Communication; Expectation setting, client relations.
Desirable Business Skills
* Drive the delivery of user/training and customer communications on Release Management.
* Assist with the implementation planning of releases, including the ability to deploy and work extended hours during live implementation.
