MHC are an award-winning IT and Business Consultancy, specialising in Change Management initiatives, which we deliver working in a collaborative way with our Clients.
We are currently working on a wide variety of assignments that include some major Digital Transformation initiatives, Regulatory and Compliance Programmes and Tools adoption projects where we are providing specialist technical and business services to a client base of primarily Tier 1 clients.
MHC are hiring a Tooling Data Architect to join us on a PAYE Contract basis and work on-site at a London based Tier 1 Bank. Initially remote.
Key Activities:

Accountable for e2e architecture definition for the agile tooling programme. Ensuring solution designs reflect the needs of the enterprise

Definition of data architecture & taxonomy

Work with the wider programme team to define a strategy and roadmap for global delivery

Work with BAs and business leads to define non-functional requirements
-
Review and evaluate 3rd party SaaS solutions
-
Progress solutions through architectural governance

Manage 2 data analysts to understand the data landscape and nuanced business requirements and delivery requirements across tech and Transformation
Experience & Skills:
-
Business, data and technical architecture experience delivering global solutions across numerous business lines
-
Experience creating architectural roadmaps over 1-5 year horizon

Ideally SME experience in agile management tooling products such as Clarity, Rally and JIRA
-
Familiarity with cloud technology providers and solutions, vendor SaaS offerings and their technical evaluation

Familiarity in data analytics and reporting solutions (Qlik, Tableau etc)

Experience with data lakes, data governance frameworks and data management policies

Practical and theoretical knowledge of agile frameworks

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong knowledge of group standard tools (Clarity, SharePoint, Confluence, JIRA)

Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders (internal as well as external)

Ability to work to strict deadlines and under pressure, deal with competing priorities

Excellent decision making & problem solving skills. Ability to work on own initiative and being proactive.
