Mainframe Developer, Cobol, CICS, DB2, Analyst Programmer
Mainframe Analyst programmer required for a leading organisation based in Berkshire
Candidates will have a background as a Developer/Analyst specialising in CICS, Cobol, DB2; Mantis and IMS desirable.
Any previous experience in the Automotive industry desirable but not essential.
General responsibilities:
- Services to be developed could be new applications, or changes to existing functionality. The service provider will maintain their knowledge and skills on code Mainframe development. The client will provide knowledge transfer to enable to service provider to successfully develop on the Mainframe applications.
- The service provider will undertake reviews of Mainframe application development by offshore development partners allowing promotion into the productive environment.
- Provision of consultancy of Mainframe services to the sales/finance department.
- The service provider will provide regular feedback in work in progress in regular daily scrums with the Agile Master.
- The service provider will deliver technical support and guidance on their knowledge, this can be to other team members, or our offshore provider.
