JD:

  • Working knowledge of Aircraft and/or Submarine/Naval Systems
  • Simulation knowledge
  • Integrate Aircraft System models and data packs for simulation
  • Integrate Submarine models and data packs and ICDs for simulation
  • Equipment interfacing; message formatting, time-sensitivity, inter-dependencies, etc.
  • C/C++ programming
  • Good working knowledge for many of the following Aircraft/Naval systems:
  • Automatic Identification System (AIS)
  • Data Link Terminals (DLT)
  • Electro-Optics (EO)
  • Electronic Warfare (EW)
  • Ground Mission Planning Systems Support
  • Identification, Friend or Foe (IFF)
  • Maritime Sensors (Sonar, Acoustics, MAD)
  • Mission Computers Support
  • Signal Attenuation
  • Stores management System (SMS)
  • Terrain Interrogation (TINT)
    • Integration and testing
    • Analytical knowledge of ARINC 429, AFDX, CAN

    Desirable

    Knowledge in the following areas is desirable:

    • Re-host existing boat systems
    • Avionics relating to Aircraft Systems
