Description

Badenoch + Clark's NHS client in the North of England requires a IT Programme Manager for an initial three month contract, but with strong chances of extension. Rates are negotiable dependent on skills and experience, but are likely to be in the region of £400 - £550 per day and will be OUTSIDE of IR35. The contract will have a mix of onsite and remote working.

Our NHS client requires a Programme Manager to lead on a portfolio of technical and digital projects that have been created as a result of organisational transformation and our NHS client picking up the management of a large number of NHS sites and services as a result. This has created a significant number of technical requirements that are focused on the development or continuation of IT services, systems and supporting SLAs. This will also involve a vast modification programme to deliver highly improved and advanced digital services over the next five years, that needs strategic programme design and delivery.

You will be tasked with managing a wide range of Informatics projects that could include infrastructure improvements, clinical and corporate system development, enhancement, implementations and integration and improved Business Intelligence reporting. You will establish programme plans, governance and controls, manage dependencies and risks, lead and support the delivery of allocated Project Managers and set up robust and effective reporting to feed progress updates up to Board level.

In order to be considered, candidates must have extensive prior knowledge and experience of delivering technical and digital transformation programmes into large and complex NHS settings. You must be an inspirational leader who can demonstrate a track record in the successful management of complex programme plans and transitions within challenging timeframes. You will also have a solid understanding of the delivery of NHS clinical systems and NHS information reporting requirements.

This is an excellent opportunity to lead on a high profile and long-term programme with a noteworthy NHS client. Please apply now and don't miss out
