Description
Harvey Nash's public sector client is currently looking to recruit a Business Support Manager to join their team until July 2021. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supporting the efficient and effective delivery of operations, financial controls and business service practices of the organisation.
Main Duties:
- Deputise, when required, for the Assistant Heads, to ensure the continuous delivery of the organisations operations and business services
- Line manage circa seven staff in areas including service delivery, sickness absence and annual leave
- Develop extensive knowledge of the organisations information management systems, policies, standard operating procedures and working practices,
- Develop effective relationships, internally and externally, to ensure a productive working relationship with colleagues in the various business areas, along with external stakeholders, such as suppliers and those attending Inquiry Hearings
- Develop extensive knowledge of the organisations financial database and its contents, undertaking financial administration duties, both transactional and analytical
