Description
This is a full time contract opportunity for an Enterprise IT Architect to join our client's wider IT Division, which is currently mainly home-based due to Covid-19.This is an excellent opportunity for a proven EA professional to further develop a structured approach to risk management and change of our technology assets, to help create a business-case driven approach to IT decision making.
You will be involved in:
- Primarily: Develop and use their Enterprise Continuum to support fact-based decisions
- Continue to develop the quantitative framework to support portfolio planning of technology assets, balanced with strategic change objectives. Identify effective, practical measures to evaluate risk, cost and benefits
- Embed and extend the usage of the data in the architecture repositories to support both strategic and operational decisions
- As required: Create high level options and phases of delivery to inform preliminary business cases
- As required: Define the scope of packages of change work
- Evidence of working effectively with senior business and IT stakeholders
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- A structured approach to architectural practice
- Strong TOGAF experience
- Competency in all the areas of IT architecture (applications, data, infrastructure) and clear understanding of how to align with business architecture
- Experience of Enterprise IT Architecture where the implementation preference is packaged (COTS) solutions
- The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) 9 Foundation
- Prince 2 Foundation
- Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (COBIT) Foundation
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation
