Templeton & Partners are looking for a Data Visualisation Engineer for one of our multinational client to be based in their London office on a yearly contract with the potential to extend. This position will be based in INSIDE IR35 from the New Year.
My client is looking for an experienced Data Visualisation Engineer with the experience/knowledge below:
- 3-5 years of experience with reporting/visualization tools
- Knowledge and experience in the following reporting/visualization/analytics tools - Power BI is a must
- Data procurement strategies - DB, Cached/import mode (applications, features and drawbacks)
- Performance tuning (pushdown logic, calculated columns and measures, data loading strategies, filtering data, variables)
- Development of visualizations (Bar Chart, Line Chart, Scatter Plot, bookmarks, report interfaces, themes)
- Knowledge of Cloud technologies and SQL is preferred
- Experience setting up data connections, mobility, writing functions and using advanced features like ESRI, NLP, Scripting, R & python etc. is preferred
- Configure/integrate security both at tool and DB level
Additional Experience:
- Strong Stakeholder management experience
- Leadership experience. Leading teams, expanding teams, coaching, mentoring etc.
- Knowledge of Agile
- UX Design knowledge would be an advantage.
