Description
Our direct, Fortune 500 client in a Northeast suburb of Cleveland is looking for an experienced IT Systems Analyst Lead for a long-term, extendable contract position. You'd be joining an exciting team as a liaison between the Business and IT on a variety of application and system development projects. Your primary responsibility would involve requirements elicitation, documentation, and management within TFS/Azure DevOps. Former experience in an Agile/Scrum environment creating user stories/story cards is ideal!Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Leading others ? work assignments, monitor and review quality, initial escalation point for project concerns
- Core team member for High Level Planning working with Solution Architect, Test Lead, and Project Manager.
- Translating initiation documents to artifacts for next level of detail of requirements that are used to plan project/program and quote effort
- Ability to take vague descriptions, elicit information and complete analysis needed to deliver artifacts in HLP.
- Initiate, facilitate, follow-up activity with others to drive planning forward (other app teams, additional business areas, vendors, supplemental labor forces (on shore and off shore).
- Mentoring and coaching others to build analysis skills
- Requirements elicitation from business contact or product owner.
- Create cards in TFS/Azure DevOps (ADO) and get approval.
- Follow Software development methodology on project assignment (SDLC or Scrum)
- Analysis that is technical in nature which could pertain to data, application components, servers, system interfaces etc.
Required:
- Tenured in analysis and in project work.
- Knowledge and understanding of industry tools and techniques to elicit, prioritize, organize, document, model, and analyze requirements
- Technical aptitude, in-depth knowledge of technologies, software applications, programming languages, adjacent systems and data exchanges
- Experience with TFS or ADO
- Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment
- Analytical and problem-solving skills including ability to investigate, assess and recommend solutions
- Knowledge of industry tools and techniques used to elicit, prioritize, organize, document, model and analyze technical requirements
- Interpersonal, communication, negotiation and organizational skills
