Change Management Lead - UK based Remote until Travel Restrictions Lifted then Location London (3-4 Month Contract + Extensions Likely)
bluewaveSELECT are working with a leading Energy sector client as they begin an S/4 Greenfield Implementation, the successful candidate should be a self starter with experience of delivering at least 1 program of change within an S/4 program and preferably with Energy or oil and gas sector experience.
The Change Management Lead will:
- Apply a structured methodology while leveraging SAP Activate CM guidelines
- Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
- Identify and lead training and communication strategy, plans and delivery
- Assess the change impact
- Conduct impact analyses while assessing change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
- Support training efforts
- Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.
- Additional responsibilities may include:
- Identify, analyse and prepare risk mitigation tactics
- Identify and manage anticipated resistance
- Consult and coach project teams
- Create actionable deliverables eg change impact assessment, change management plans, business readiness plans.
- Support and engage senior leaders
- Coach managers and supervisors
- Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
- Coordinate efforts with other specialists
- Integrate change management activities into project plan
- Evaluate and ensure user readiness
- Manage stakeholders
- Track and report issues
- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
- Support change management at the organizational level
- Manage the change portfolio
Skills and Qualifications
- A solid understanding of how people go through a change and the change process
- Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and tools
- Exceptional training and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent active listening skills
- Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
- Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships
- Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
- Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
- Resilient and tenacious with a propensity to persevere
- Forward looking with a holistic approach
- Organized with a natural inclination for planning strategy and tactics
- Problem solving and root cause identification skills

- Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others, including the Systems Integrator (SI)
- Acute business acumen and understanding of organizational issues and challenges
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project life cycle in an SAP environment
- Experience with small to medium-scale organizational change efforts
- Change management certification or designation desirable but not essential
- SAP change project experience preferred, with exposure to change impacts on Finance processes. SAP S/4 Cloud implementation and application of SAP Best Practices exposure is desirable, but not essential
- Experience in Oil & Gas (Upstream)/Energy industry sectors preferred, but not essential
