Description
Global IT Solutions Company requires a suitably experienced VMWare Infrastructure Engineer with SME experience of:
Horizon 7.x & 8
Unified Access Gateway
VMWare ESXi/vSphere
vRealize and UEM desired
This role is remote working and INSIDE IR35 so you will be required to invoice through an umbrella company.

Day Rate: Negotiable Day Rate - Inside IR35

Key Skills and Experience
Experience of implementing and supporting Horizon pod and block structures for global enterprises which operate 24x7x365
RDSH and VDI
Microsoft Windows Server and Desktop OSes
Understanding of the purposes and function of Active Directory
AWS knowledge, EC2 instances etc.
General understanding of IT technologies .networking including DMZs, Firewalls and storage
CI/CD pipelines and general automation - GitHub, Jenkins, Chef client, Ruby Scripting, PowerShell and batch files
Familiar with many types of client facing applications and troubleshooting thereof
Familiar with concepts of change management, incident management, issue escalation and triage techniques
