Marketing Manager - Retention, Customer, Marketing

Customer Marketing Manager required by global organisation based in London (remote for now). You will join the growing UK Retention team. You will be data driven, developing deep customer insights into our partners in order to identify the biggest opportunities to grow usage and cross sell, deepen engagement, and ultimately drive retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Gain customer insights into our Small Business customers in order to recommend customer marketing plans to grow usage, cross sell and deepen engagement and ultimately drive retention across the full customer journey
  • Understand customer pain points and drivers of churn and recommend activities to address the pain points and ultimately stop customers from leaving us.
  • Partner with a broad cross-functional team including sales, product, CS to execute activities that deliver on those goals.
  • Measure the impact of all marketing activities on engagement, retention, lifetime value and ROI
  • Continually test and learn new ways of driving efficiency and effectiveness of marketing.

Desired Experience:

Marketing

  • Prior experience in Customer or Retention Marketing with a track-record of demonstrable business results through testing and deploying effective life cycle marketing campaigns
  • Passion for delighting customers and using customer insights to improve end-to-end experiences
  • Data savvy, with good understanding of customer segmentation and reporting on business performance of campaigns
  • Experience executing high-impact multi-channel marketing campaigns across digital and offline channels (web, mobile, email, in-product, inbound/outbound calls etc
  • Good understanding of email automation tools

Leadership

  • Effectively influences across teams to mobilise cross-team initiatives
  • Bias for action and experience with rapid testing and optimisation
  • Strong analytical skills & business judgment
  • Exceptional communication skills: verbal, written, visual/presentation
  • High energy & positive mindset attitude within a change environment
