Cloud Network Engineer - FTSE 100 Company - Remote Friendly (Office in Guildford) - £550 p/d
The successful candidates will join the global Azure Infrastructure team. You will have responsibility for delivering and maintaining cloud-based network infrastructure as part of a life cycle of environment provisioning for internal development. You will work with network virtual appliances, cloud fabric, and 3rd party tools to ensure a healthy, performant, and secure.
Some of your responsibilities:
- Implementing and developing cloud-based network infrastructure on Azure.
- Firewalls & Proxies
- Network Virtual Appliances (Fortinet FortiGate-VM, Palo Alto VM-Series, Cisco Cloud Services Routers)
- Fabric routing and security controls (Azure UDR, Network Security Groups
- Configuration compliance management
- Work as part of a shift and on-call rota to provide a 24x7 service
Key skills needed:
- Professional cloud networking experience with Azure
- Highly professional network infrastructure management covering availability, performance, and incident/fault resolution
- Project experience with Fortinet
- Understanding of Site reliability engineering
