SC Cleared DevOps Engineer
We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who require a QA/Test Analyst Engineer for a Public Sector Client based in Telford.
.* IR35 not applicable until April 2021, then IN SCOPE.*
.* Strong understanding of the QA process, defining and implementing test designs.
.* Strong background in software integration and system testing
.* Has proven knowledge in microservices and transformation projects (desirable)
.* Experienced in API testing (desirable).
.* Experience in Functional or System Integration Testing.
.* Hands-on experience in using automated testing frameworks (eg, Cucumber, JUnit) (desirable)
.* Experience in driving test design/scripts and execution for evaluation of fit-for-purpose.
.* Experience using JIRA, Confluence or any backlog or test management tooling
.* Knowledge of Stubs such as Wiremock (desirable)
.* Strong experience of iterative/incremental software delivery
.* Maintaining and executing automated testing cycles, coordinating efforts with external teams
.* Experience/Understanding of Git or other repositories
.* Knowledge of Agile
.* Knowledge of Linux (desirable)
.* ISEB/ISTQB Foundation Certification (desirable)
.* Experience in retrieving data from Databases such as SQL, MongoDB
.* Experience of working in fast paced environments to strict deadlines
.* Documenting test results and compiling results into consolidated high level reports
.* Reviewing test execution results and processes to facilitate continuous improvement and maintenance of quality standards
.* Participation on providing test estimates
.* Understanding Non-Functional, Load or Performance testing (desirable)
.* Excellent written and verbal communication
