IT Infrastructure Engineer
A leading IT Service Provider is looking for someone with excellent communication, time-management, and analytical skills to join their busy team as an IT Infrastructure Engineer.
The project that the client is looking to undertake is a Service Account Password Change. The candidate will be responsible for being the technical lead on the project, working as part of the Security Team. The client is looking for someone with strong SQL experience.
Typical Deliverables:
- Conduct a discovery of the service account status for the accounts that are owned by the Information Infrastructure Team
- Update the password vault system in order to prepare for the automating of the service account password changes
- Work with the Information Infrastructure Team to automate the service account password changes.
- Ensure the automated process is documented
- Ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner
- Work with Business Owners and Service Owners to ensure test plans are in place for the service account password change
Technical Skills:
- Extensive administration understanding of ALL SQL Server relational database management. Ability to query databases uses T-SQL and troubleshooting Scripting issue
- Strong understanding of SQL Server and SharePoint
- Strong Scripting skills in powershell to automate tasks
- Ability to analyse technical requirements and communicate what is recommended with supporting evidence
- Proven experience providing 3rd line support
