  • HR Data Engineer/Data Modeller SAP HANA
  • £530 per day INSIDE IR35
  • 6 month contract
  • Fully remote
Working for a Global Software Design company we are looking for an experienced Data Engineer/Data Modeller to join the People Team as an additional resource to assist them with designing data models for critical metrics and supporting data.

Accountabilities
  • Building relationships and collaborating with People Analytics team analysts & People Data Owners/Stewards to design logical and physical models for critical metrics and supporting data.
  • Implementing physical models of People/HR Data within SAP HANA, utilising SAP HANA Studio and where possible optimising existing data structures.
  • Partnering with Digital IT and Platform Teams to design and implement ETL.
  • Assuring the quality of insights by testing and validating metrics and data with business partners and data owners
  • Inputting to the Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) process for transport through environments
  • Developing detailed user documentation for implemented metric & data
Job Requirements:

Essential Skills:
  • You must have experience within SAP HANA and ideally have experience with HANA Studio
  • Strong SQL experience
  • Ideally experience working with Success Factors
  • Knowledge of Tableau will also be great
  • Datamodelling: Design of data models (conceptual, logical, physical), ideally for People/HR metrics and analytics.
  • Data Engineering: Engineering data within SAP Native HANA and/or BW/4HANA. Optimizing models for query performance and usability.
  • Testing & Verification: Testing across the development life cycle, incl. unit, system, integration and user acceptance.
Desirable Skills:
  • Data Integration: Utilizing our current technologies such as BODS, SSIS, JavaScript or Mulesoft APIs
