API ENGINEER - Remote Contract
My client, a leading tech consultancy firm, is currently recruiting for a strong API Engineer with a development background who either has SC Clearance or is eligible to go through it.

Role & Responsibilities
- Builds the work needed to implement API functionality from the product backlog.
- Works closely with other team members to ensure that features meet business.
Skills & Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of REST APIs
- Design and develop consumer driven APIs that follow API-first design principles
- 2 years of developer experience - In-depth programming knowledge
- Experience in cloud would be ideal
- Understanding of API based documentation standards such as Swagger or OpenAPI format
- Ability to thrive and produce results with little or no supervision in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- Superior problem solving and analytical skills
