Job description for the role of SAP Project Systems Functional Consultant
Key Skills/Knowledge:
Should possess Functional expertise that includes SAP PS (Project Systems) and their integration with MM (Material Management), SD (Sales and Distribution) and PP (Production Planning), etc. -
logistic modules
Should have hands-on experience and technical proficiency in implementation, design and configuration of major functionalities in SAP PS
Good working knowledge in development of reports.
Should have experience in writing functional specifications for Confidential, customizing reports;
working experience with conversion and transfer of master/transactional data from Legacy to SAP systems.
Proven experience in Unit Testing, Integration Testing, Regression Testing, and User Acceptance Testing.
Proficient in Project Evaluation, AS - IS study, Fit- GAP analysis, TO-BE process, troubleshooting,
Production Support and End-user trainings Good business analytics and stakeholder
management;
Should possess strong communication skills.
Ability to understand customer business processes and IT landscape.
Experience required:
Experienced in at least 2 end to end large scale implementation projects.
Good configuration knowledge of PS structures: WBS, Network, Milestones, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Material Requirement planning, Project quotation, Time sheets,
Goods issues, and other project management activities in
SAP PS.
Experience on complete PS module cycle from project
creation to settlement.
Integration knowledge with CO, FI and MM, SD and PP.
Must be proficient in handling Issues/support functions
