Private Debt IPV Analyst, West Midlands 6 month contract

Our high profile client is a household name in financial services with a client portfolio valued over 40 million GBP. We are looking for an experienced Private Debt IPV Analyst that has come from a Financial Services background (banking or insurance) specifically in private debt valuations and market risk functions to deliver BAU work.

The role:

To carry out this role, essentially you will need to have the following:

  • Insurance companies/banks/Financial services
  • Credit Risk and valuation knowledge to get past all of the basic questions
  • Understanding of Fixed Income markets
  • Looking for degree/masters in finance or accounting or could have a CFA level 1 qualification
  • Banking/asset management/hedge funds background

Desirably also have:

  • Quanative Finance background and able to price and value loans and understand the credit market and how they work and the mean.
  • Understanding market and credit risk and IPD process before

You need to have experience in delivering:

Monthly processes where the team has to ensure that the prices for loans from managers in reasonable - expertise on private debt - how do you firm a debt on an independent price that doesn't have a market - reducing evaluation uncertainty. Need an understanding of loans and loan structures and how the market is moving and be able to challenge the first line with prices and views on prices and sit in front committee (CRO) and be able to explain how they have got to the recommendations

Terms

This is a 6 month contract role, up to 500 GBP Per Day, where the successful resource will be starting January 2021. Determination of IR35 is currently in process with a decision expected before deployment. Should this seem of interest we can provide a full specification.
