Database Designer - SC Cleared
Whitehall Resources are currently looking for a Database Designer - SC Cleared based on a remote basis for an initial 6-month contract.
* PLEASE NOTE ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE IS REQUIRED.*
Key Technical Skills:
- Datamodelling - logical and physical
- AWS RDS
- PostgreSQL
- Data migration from Legacy to AWS cloud
- AWS/Microservices
Requirements:
- Analyse Legacy database structures
- Design logical data model and physical database structure (based on Postgres or AWS RDS SQL)
- Write the data migration strategy
- Working with the Platform/DevsecOps Engineers and Test Automation Engineers write scripts to create and populate production and test databases
- Plan and oversee the execution of the data migration strategy
- Design scripts to extract data from Lotus Domino and SQL*Server Legacy databases, where necessary transform and verify quality
- Design scripts to load data into the new database platform
- Support the solution architect in defining the database aspects of the solution architecture and securing approval of those at the relevant technical governance forum/s
