Project Sales Engineer - 12 month Contract - Manchester

Job Summary
This job will entail tracking down the right people to talk with at key facilities to assure the client is specified on upcoming and existing projects. You may also spend time working with our Sales Manager and distribution network to grow the business. This includes customer visits, with or without our distributor, to support sales through training and application engineering.
The successful candidate will have:
- Extensive and recent experience within the Oil, Gas and Petro-Chemicals (OGC) sector, along with commercial and technical (mechanical instrumentation products)
- A degree in engineering discipline or a minimum 4 years of sales experience in business-to business sales environment within the industry
- Must have 2 years' experience selling mechanical instrumentation products
- PC proficiency preferably with Microsoft Package
- Previous experience in Project Sales preferred
- Strong account management and relationship building skills
- Travel within the UK will be required to meet with both clients; therefore, you'll need to hold a full driving license.
