MUST BE SC CLEARED AND UK NATIONAL.
Must be able to predominantly work Onsite in Barrow

Overview of Role
The key aim of the Network Business As Usual Lead role is to operationally manage all LAN, WAN and Voice services within the Account and deliver all contractual obligations and performance targets.
Responsibilities
To manage and perform management duties on a daily basis for the IT Network Support Teams and ensuring procedures and processes are adhered to.
To ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained within the Network Support teams at all times.
To ensure targets outlined by the SLA and KPI's are achieved.
To ensure jobs assigned to the Network support group are managed and completed within targets outlined by the SLA.
To set procedures and processes in line with standards within the Support environment.
To line manage and be responsible for the personal and technical development of the Network Support Team, including appraisals and Development training plans.
Quality checking and auditing of work carried out by the Network Support team.
To liaise and work with members of the Service Desk, Server Services and Operation Support teams.
To act as a primary point of contact for escalation from a Network Support level in times of major system outages, supplier issues and conflict resolution with customers.
To monitor and identify any trends or irregular activities on jobs logged with the Network Support group that could relate to potential IT issues and escalate to the IT Service Delivery Manager.
To ensure that all requests from customers for assistance are handled promptly and effectively, and if necessary escalated to the appropriate level.
Ensure the Network team can provide 24x7 out of hours support
Work closely with the Network Lead responsible for all Network related projects and client funded activities
The applicant must have:
Previous Network Management experience preferably in a Cisco environment
