Description
World Class Defence Organisation is currently looking to recruit a Network Development Specialist Subcontractor on an initial 12 month contract. This role would suit a candidate who has a strong a strong background in any of the following; Network Architect/Network Security/Network Engineer/Infosec/CLAS Consultant/Information Assurance.
This role can be based out from either of the following Company sites; Bristol, Stevenage or Bolton.
Contract Duration: 12 Months (initially and then ongoing thereafter)
Hourly Rate: The Company are offering excellent rates.
Security Information: Please Note you must be eligible for SC Security Clearance (unfortunately due to security restrictions for this role, the candidate will need to be a British National with no dual nationality and must have resided in the UK for at least 4 of the past 5 years).
Network Development Specialist Job Description:
Lead or assist with examination of non-standard or project requirements from stakeholders including end customers, internal product-facing teams, IT colleagues, support and outsourcing partners and others.
Liaison with colleagues and support partners to form an architecture
Participate in project teams for large projects and lead/self-manage for smaller scale activities
Coordinate design strategies and projects/tactical actions at a group level, within the UK business or bi/tri laterally
Act as design authority for overseas sales and support offices within the group networks strategy
Support the UK network operations team for national-specific subjects
Support to project management colleagues in providing specialist technical support and consultancy for project activities
Creation of documentation and presentation materials in support of business activities
Close cooperation with security operating centre and information security teams to ensure the highest standards of secure design
Skillset/experience required:
Network architecture
Network security
Experience of network operations and device configuration
Cryptography (commercial and military/high grade)
Architecture frameworks (nice to have)
