Description
Our client in the Medina, Ohio area is looking for an experienced Data Modeler. This is a 10+ month project.
This role is going to be working with internal Data Modelers/Designers teaching and mentoring them. They want this group to be completely internal so they moved people into this group. However, there is a learning curve so they are looking for someone who can support them as they all get up to speed.
Keys to focus on:
- Must have the ability to coach and mentor, this is not just a role to come in and do the work.
- The person in this role will be responsible for the following:
- Enhancing a foundational data model for a customer profile solution - traditional 3rd normal form modelling
- Upskilling our client's employees to develop into a Data Designer role. The employee is a Data Analyst who has gone through data modelling training, but needs to learn data design through real life examples.
- Optionally assisting other junior level data modelers with dimensional data modelling enhancements.
The position is remote for now, but may require some on site work down the road as things start to open up more due to Covid. Must be willing to come on site at that time, possibly in a hybrid situation.
