Information Security Specialist

Our client, a Government Organisation has set out on a journey to transform the way it uses technology and security to enable its transition in to a 21st century Government agency.
They are now looking for two Information Security Specialists to come on board and help support the secure development, delivery and management of common, consistent and high-quality security and information services across their estate; establishing security and system requirements of information security standards.
Essential
Some Essential skills include:
- Knowledge of Information Security principles at a high level
- Understanding of aspects and importance of Information Security Management controls
- Appreciation of Security considerations of cloud computing; including data breaches, broken authentication, hacking, insider threats, data loss and types of Cyber attacks
- Identity and access Management (IAM)
- Communicating, influencing and collaboration at all levels
- Ability to understand, analyse and evaluate a variety of preferences and approaches within the Homes England Information Security.
Desirable
- Experience working with cloud technologies, in particular Microsoft Azure Security Centre
- Experience of public sector working (especially within Government)
