We are heading up a recruitment drive for a major consultancy that require an SC cleared Lead Data Engineer to join them on a major government project.
Location- Occasional travel maybe required to London (post lockdown)
Key Skills Required:
Create the data pipelines
Assemble data to meet requirements
Test and assure code of others
Automate data processes across the solution
Tailor the infrastructure provided using SQL and other technologies
Build analytical models that utilize the data pipeline to provide insight
Technical Skills:
PostgreSQL/MS Azure, R, Python
Responsibilities
Discover and evaluate complex datasets
Assemble data to meet requirements
Input into solution architecture including technical code designs
Create the data pipelines and interfaces
Build analytical models that utilize the data pipeline to provide insight
Lead and guide other engineers and assure the code of others
Ability to deliver to standards with appropriate documentation
Automate data processes across the solution
Tailor the infrastructure provided using SQL and other technologies
Content/Technical/Delivery Skills (Certifications where appropriate):
MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL/MS Azure, R, Python
Familiar to work with structured, unstructured, stream (Real Time)
Able to work in Agile. DevOps experience advantageous
Familiar with data governance and data quality standards
Able to work as part of a cross-discipline team
