Job Title: DevOps Engineer
Location: UK (Any location)
Job Purpose and primary objectives:
Certified Kubernetes administrator with Helm deployment experience in developing/supporting CI/CD pipelines for the applications in Azure DevOps
Key responsibilities (please specify if the position is an individual one or part of a team):
The role involves working with Azure release technology and processes
- including setting up environments, repositories, and release pipelines from scratch (including Kubernetes and HELM configuration)
- Setting up Azure RM Template for the app, network resources and database.
- Devops Pipeline set up
- setting up new products, monitoring and maintaining/improving pipeline performance Pre and Post validation test execution integration
- NPM installs, managing the branching and release strategy for multiple concurrent developments (including creating release notes)
- Setup Release and deployment tasks and support multiple environments
- Suggesting improvements to current ways of working and troubleshooting
Key Skills/Knowledge:
- Certified Kubernetes administrator with L3 experience in deployment, along with the utilisation of Helm/Helm Charts for deployment.
- Experience in Automating and orchestrating workloads across multiple cloud providers (Preferable in Azure release management) Automation experience with configuration/deployment management system such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet etc
- Experience in working of the following languages, Node.js, Java, Python, etc. Proficient in Scripting, Git and git workflows.
- Basic knowledge of PHP, Node.js and react.js desired
- Azure DevOps Experience
- Kubernetes and helm
- Cloud platform experience - Azure Git, VM, VNET, AZURE Disk, Azure Sql, AKS, Key Vault, Storage account, Azure DNS, ARM Templates, Azure Load balancer, Azure Webapps
- Virtualization tools-Kubernetes(AKS), Kubernetes CLI, Helm CLI
- DataBase- MariaDB SQL server
- Dev technology- Linux, PowerShell,
- API integration knowledge
- ARCAD, ERADANI
Experience required: 6- 8 years of experience with sound knowledge on Azure DevOps/Kubernetes and Helm.
Duration of the Assignment: 6 months - 1 Year
