We have an exciting opportunity for a senior expert with proven track record of Real World Evidence data and epidemiology background to support the creation of a new department and ongoing projects.As Head RWE your will provide people leadership and ensure development and implementation of the Global RWE strategy within Patient Value Unit for the assingned therapy area in order to optimize the development, differentiation, and real-world impact of the products portfolio
Specifically, your remit will involve multiple disease areas (including chronic and rare diseases) and range from evidence generation to ensure successful Phase 3, launch and lifecycle management of portfolio, to supporting earlier stage development. As such, this role provides a fantastic opportunity to shape overall approach across an exciting and growing pipeline; to increase understanding of new patient subpopulations by applying established and novel RWE generation methods, and ultimately, to impact the probability that our innovative medicines reach the right patients.
Your responsibilities:
- Being a leader within the global RWE organization, providing line management to RWE team members, mentoring and developing them.
- Coordinating the identification and prioritization of RWE needs across the Patient Value Unit and maximizes synergies.
- Partnering with RWE Leads, Missions, and cross-functional teams to align strategies and evidence generation plans across therapeutic areas.
- Building external networks and strategic partnerships, collaborates with thought leaders and external research partners to develop real-world evidence to inform decisions of HCPs, clinical organizations, reimbursement authorities, and regulatory agencies.
- Championing a culture that promotes strong working relationships with internal stakeholders to enable thoughtful RWE strategy development and timely execution of stage-appropriate RWE plans to guide the PVUs, Missions, and regional/local partners.
- Fostering digital epidemiology and innovation in close collaboration with the RWE innovation leads.
- Ensuring scientific sound RWE generation methods.
