Job Title: DevOps Engineer, Remote work

Key responsibilities:
- Code, configure and implement customer journeys, frontends, APIs, backend integration and continuously update code based on the user stories from backlog as agreed with the Product Owner, without spending time on work outside the backlog
- Develop micro services and APIs
- Manage all resources in version-controlled repositories (incl., code, scripts, configurations, artefacts)
- Refactor and reuse existing code/modules/functionality
- Test and release functionality to production (daily)
- Write fully automated tests (e.g., unit-, functional-, non-functional-and integration testing
- Participate rigorously in agile rituals (e.g. daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, retrospective, peer reviews) and collaborate within and across Squads
- Participate in on-call rotations (across product teams in urgent situations)
Key technical skills:
- 6 years of experience in DevOps
- Knowledge of Scrum and Jira
- Azure DevOps experience
- Knowledge of BitBucket
- Knowledge of below:
- Integration tests
- Unit tests
- Code review
- Static code analysis
- Version control systems
- Knowledge of Windows OS
- Certifications and/or proven proficiency in one or more programming/ scripting languages and automation tooling
- Track record of developing high quality software products
- Working-level knowledge of agile and preferably DevOps (e.g., automating IT operations)
- Broad understanding of technologies and consumer needs incl. knowledge across stack, technologies and ecosystems
- Fundamental technical knowledge in containerization, cloud, CI/CD pipeline, log analysis and database
- Strong knowledge spike in one of the following topics: front end development or back end development
