3rd/4th Line Infrastructure Engineer (vSphere, AD, Powershell, VMWare)
Overview of role:
Work within a current team of infrastructure engineers predominately managing onsite infrastructure (in a data centre) and some cloud based infrastructure.
Key responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain vSphere Environment
- Configure and maintain DFS/DFSR File Servers
- Configure and Troubleshoot Active Directory
- Perform PowerShell Automation
- Configure and Microsoft Failover Clustering
- Configure Shared Storage (Compellent and Equallogic SAN)
- ISCSI storage migration from Equallogic Storage array to Compellent Storage Array
- Automated VMware template Build
- VMware Config Automation
- SRM reporting
- Building core infrastructure services for Data Centres
- McAfee Agent Hander for data centres
Technical skills required for the role:
Active Directory domain services configuration and administration Windows 10 support, administration and configuration Windows server server administration and configuration experience in design, configuration and administration of core infrastructure application products including but not limited to:
- Active Directory Domain Services
- Enterprise collaboration tools
- Citrix
- Networking
- System Centre
- Vmware
- Backup software
- Telephony
- Anti virus
- Solarwinds
- Asset management
- SAN environments
- Infrastructure security
