Fullstack JavaScript Developer
We are looking for an established Senior Fullstack JavaScript Developer, practitioner of the latest web and cloud technologies; building best in class applications, serving users on the modern web landscape, whatever that may be.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Your role will be hands-on but also inspiring others to form an exemplary technical team. You will work closely with others to ensure good collaboration across all disciplines and to facilitate the solving of day-to-day challenges.
As such we are looking for a skilled full stack engineer to help the team to deliver market-leading solutions. You will be responsible for the devOps activities of the project (CI/CD, Scripting), building APIs and integrating APis on Azure cloud.
You will work closely with Front End developers integrating therefore good knowledge of Javascript frameworks and NPM is a must.
You should have a thorough understanding of Lean and Agile methodologies. You should be able to identify bottlenecks within delivery processes as they occur and be able to help influence behaviours within the team to help resolve these and protect the technical delivery.
The ideal candidate is a self-starting technologist who can draw parallels across a technology landscape and isn't restricted by a set specific skill set, however below is a list of skill sets we would expect;
TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES
Expertise of Azure Cloud Services and serverless approaches is a must have
Expertise in as cloud functions, API services and the JAMStack Advanced
Expertise in DevOPS activities such as CI/CD Pipeline, Scripting languages is a must
Development and consumption of HTTP APIs such as RESTful and GraphQL
Cloud hosted databases
Node, common node libraries and frameworks, npm module consumption and publishing
Headless CMS and other SaaS products such as Contentful.
Good knowledge of HTML,
Good knowledge of CSS and associated tools, pre-processors, technologies
Good knowledge of JavaScript libraries and frameworks such as React, Vue, TypeScript, Angular or similar
CSS and associated tools, pre-processors, technologies and animations
Build, and code quality tools, including tests and test automation
Webapp performance, profiling and testing.
Writing and architecting modularised, reusable code
QUALIFICATIONS & CHARACTERISTICS
5+ years' industry experience.
