Azure Data Consultant - Remote - 3 Month Intiial - up to £650 per day
Our client are currently on the look out for an Azure Data Consultant to join their end client for a 3 month initial contract.
This role will be inside IR35
Role and Responsibilities.
Role is a Data Engineer who has strong experience in DWH and BI technologies.
The role will involve:
- Building data pipelines using Azure data factory for data ingestion and data processing using azure data bricks notebooks.
- Facilitating data integration, data conformity, data integrity and ensuring data structures are designed for flexibility to support future business needs and enhancements.
- Ensuring that data transformations are well documented follow best practices and understood by business users and developers.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Hands on experience in Azure, preferably data heavy/analytics applications leveraging relational and NoSQL databases, data warehouse and big data.
- Project experience using Azure cloud, data lake storage, Data factory, Hadoop 2.x, HDInsight, Spark, Scala, Hive, Pig, Sqoop, HDFS. Exp with Spark more relevant.
- Advanced SQL programming, PL/SQL or T-SQL
