Description
The Job
Working as a product owner your role will be to work with a large financial services business to define/deliver various mobile banking apps used by millions of customers and small businesses. You will work with the client to fully understand the requirements, build Epics/user stories, create and maintain the product backlog, carry out PI and Iteration planning and work with your deliver against these and ultimately acceptance of the stories.
To do this you will lead one or two off shore scrum teams of (12 people in each), planning scrum sessions and liaising with your scrum masters.
As a product owner you are the focal point between the client and the delivery teams and so need to be comfortable having multiple stakeholders. You must be super organised and have held the role of product owner before, ideally in the delivery of large customer facing mobile apps, if you have done this in the banking space than that would be amazing.
If you are also an accredited Product owner that would be desirable.
The company
Working for a leading consultancy, that drives innovation in their clients you will the face of this consultancy with the client. You will work in a highly functioning team of onshore and offshore resource and well backed by an Embedded process that follows the SAFe framework.
They are a friendly team and given the current situation are all working from home. When things open up, you will have to come to the office which is based in London, though it is very doubtful that will every 5 days per week as it once was.
