The Job
Solutions architect working on the architecture and delivery of a next generation Mobile App for retail and commercial for a leading retail bank.
Working as the solution architect you will work with the client, product owners and stakeholders to understand and translate requirements around the development of a new mobile application for the retail banking and SME banking applications used by millions of customers.
The bank are hoping to make it easier to set up accounts, make applications, give loans and essentially evolve so that customers can do much more on their mobile platform. They are also looking to rebrand and add much more mobile content (video etc). Your job is to take the customers vision and design their mobile app to deliver against their strategy. You will then work with onshore and off shore teams to deliver against this vision.
For this job it is essential that you are already a solutions architect and that you have already designed and delivered complex transactional mobile apps. If you have done this for a bank that would be highly advantageous.
The company
Working for a leading consultancy, that drives innovation in their clients you will the face of this consultancy with the client. You will work in a highly functioning team of onshore and offshore resource and well backed by an Embedded process that follows the SAFe framework.
They are a friendly team and given the current situation are all working from home. When things open up, you will have to come to the office which is based in London, though it is very doubtful that will every 5 days per week as it once was.
