Security Cleared UX designer, 6 month plus contract, up to £500 per day, outside IR35

Our client is a very successful international consultancy, who have a long history in engineering for the various environments, their approach delivers excellent performance for customers and shareholders worldwide.

My client builds and operates ground-breaking, high performance, cloud-based data infrastructure for some fantastic clients.

Role

As the UX designer you will work out the best way to let users interact with services, in terms of both overall flow and at the level of individual design elements.

As the voice of the ultimate end-user, you will conduct research, design, write, validate & test designs before presentation to the business.

Duties:

• Assist the greater discovery teams & collaborate closely with the UI designer to achieve business goals
• Research, design & write UX copy
• Extensive Interface Design
• Prototype & wireframe
• Visually communicate the end vision
• Deploy your user empathy & interaction design experience
• Utilising design thinking methodologies, double diamond approach
• Front load first process effort to address majority of shared feature sets
• Assist in the sprints of effort between both teams
• Address processes sequentially but overlap to facilitate knowledge transfer between teams

This role is to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, consisting of Product Manager, Developers, Designers, Service Design, User Researchers.

Skills needed:

• Must hold current SC Clearance
• In depth UX experience particularly desired
• Detailed Interaction Design experience
• Expertise agency or consultancy experience is preferred.
