Azure Security Consultant required for a 6 month contract - home based - up to £725 per day
Working outside of IR35 for a high profile Security & Defence organisation, you will be working with an innovative crypto custodian on a secure API on the MS Azure cloud.
Due to the nature of the role and client you will need to undergo SC Clearance. You will need to have BPSS Clearance in order to start.
Key responsibilities:
- Secure configuration of the cloud platform
- Secure Design/Architecture of the cloud deployment
- Fostering a good security culture within the team and sharing best practice
- Providing security assurance of the delivery
- Working closely with the Security Lead on the project
- Regular reviews of the teams work from a security perspective
- Defining and updating security control frameworks adapting and adjusting them to meet project cloud computing needs
- Blending Azure Best Practice, regulatory, and industry requirements to reflect the tolerance for risk, and through this creating sustainable and repeatable technology patterns
Experience required:
- Azure Cloud experience is essential (AZ-500 MS Azure Security Engineer Associate Certified).
- Experience securing data, applications or operating systems, infrastructure and environment.
- Knowledge of secure networking and Firewalls and configuration of these within the cloud.
- Knowledge of the Azure platform and services.
- Azure Solutions Architect qualification is highly desirable
- Able to review and implement appropriate security control based on technical requirements and specifications.
- Have experience in writing security assessments and architectural documents for both infrastructure and applications particularly in the Azure environment.
- Previous experience in FinTech/Financial Services/Crypto Currencies preferred
This role is to start ASAP and will pay between £600 - £725 per day Ltd/umbrella (outside of IR35) depending on your level of experience.
