Deliver communications and engagement support

The multi-year study is being delivered through six different research themes and supported by sixteen suppliers.

Provide a set of agreed communications interventions to ensure that the range of delivery stakeholders and those with delivery interest in the study receive required information and support to deliver their work.

Essential Skills and Experience:

Proven experience of delivering communications and engagement support within a project environment

Experience in working in Matrix models including external partners and suppliers

Experience of working in the public sector and in academic environments

Experience of research projects is highly desirable

Ways of Working:

Highly motivated self-starter capable of working remotely

Comfortable with responding to a fast-moving and changing environment

Key Responsibilities:

Produce and maintain a list of stakeholders delivering to, or accountable for the portfolio, their respective interests, and the impact they have on the study outcomes.

Produce a communications and engagement plan representing each stakeholder's need for information and communications interventions.

Manage delivery against the plan through leading detailed definition and delivery of communications and engagement interventions across identified stakeholders.

Produce promotional materials to ensure that the critical importance and high levels of strategic ownership of the study are communicated as an enabler to ensure senior level commitment to the programme.

Produce, maintain, and promote key messages that ensure a consistent voice of the study is heard.

Produce documentation and presentation standards and templates to ensure a consistent look-and feel for the programme is achieved.

Monitor effectiveness of the communications and make changes as needed.

Support requests for information requirements from external bodies such as FOIs, Executive requests for information, etc.

Produce analyses and reports to fulfil requests.

Produce and maintain data and information sharing repositories to enable the 6 themes and multiple suppliers to efficiently share information

Work proactively with the Science Division Communication group providing support to their operations as required

The role will be for 12 months either home based or nearest HSE office if required
