Azure Data Engineer

£450 to £500 per day (Home based)
Overview of the role
Reporting to the Data Architect, the post holder will:
Support the design and implementation of our cloud-based data warehouse platform.
Conduct a functionality comparison between Azure Data Factory and our current on-premises solution
Create a prototype data mart based on our existing data model
Skills and experience:
Azure Data Factory v2 - 3+ years of experience in developing data ingestion, data processing and analytical pipelines.
Experience of using data flows, data sets, activities, linked services, azure & self-hosted integration runtime.
Azure SQL databases, blob storage/data lake.
Strong knowledge of SQL
Microsoft Azure related Certifications
Dimensional modelling
Proven capability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
Experience of Power BI/Gateways would be beneficial
Experience of SAP Data Services and Oracle would be beneficial
