Mechanical Design Engineer required for customer project.
Carrying out measurement of equipment and transferring to solidworks. Carrying out reverse engineering to ensure any design changes to the manufacturing process are captured. Examining what components can be reused in the new products. Conducting reviews of materials to complete BOM's. Carrying out quality checks and design reviews to ensure consistent quality standards are met. Must have experience of Solidworks, sheet metal work, PDM systems and any experience of ERP systems is desirable. Please note that this role may go longer than the expected 12 weeks.
