Description
We are looking for a talented Data Engineer who will set-up and build a scalable and efficient data acquisition platform and microservices architecture for a new Saas-solution with regard to autoML time-series forecasting. You will be working in close co-operation with the Solution Architect/ML engineer.
Location: Heverlee, Belgium
Contract duration: 12 months
Language: English and Dutch
Expertise:
- Python development
- DB-systems (RDBMS, Data Warehouse, Data Lake)
- Distributed/parallel computing (multiprocessing, clustering)
- Docker (Swarm) en Container Orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of Linux, but no aversion towards Windows
- Microservices architecture
- Experience/interest in machine learning
- Driven to automate and create
- Knowledge of DevOps - MLOps
- Preferably Dutch speaking
- Not cloud-only, hybrid between on-premises and cloud started out by analysing and forecasting both energy and financial time series in the energy market.
