Empiric has received exciting instructions from one of the world's most innovative Banks for a z/OS Mainframe Systems Programmer to support upgrading and supporting the z/OS operating system and ISV products, mainly from IBM and Computer Associates (CA)
Experience of working within the Banking/Finance sector is ideal
Skills
- z/OS Mainframe systems programming
- Systems/tools: z/OS, SMP/E, TSO/ISPF, USS, SDSF, JCL, RACF.
- Parallel Sysplex
- Bank sector experience
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills and be a true team player Any additional
Knowledge of the following tools would be advantageous:
ACF2 Security tool/GDPS/RACF/Assembler/Rexx/Omegamon/RMF/SMF/SAS
Some off-hours support for the implementation of software changes maybe needed
Term: 12months +
