GIS Solutions Architect
Day Rate £725 - £750 (inside of IR35)
Duration: Initially 6 months - extensions very likely
Start date - Flexible
Location: North West
Reporting to the programme Chief Architect, the role of Spatial Solution Architect is to support the delivery of technical GIS solutions at a project level to deliver consistent, robust solutions and outcomes.
This role will suit a Solution Architect that has a background working with Geospatial technologies and solutions, and who has the experience to assist with driving the delivery of the programme forward.
Candidates will need:
* A passion for fast moving, agile delivery environments
* Extensive experience working with GIS technologies on projects to deploy/migrate Geospatial solutions
* The confidence and interpersonal skills to become the trusted advisor to business and delivery counterparts
* The ability to balance priorities between governance and delivery
* A pragmatic view of architectural and technical purity against delivery and cost pressures
* Experience in Enterprise Architecture frameworks and standards, such as TOGAF and ArchiMate
* Experience in working with Enterprise Architecture tools, such as iServer, would be desirable
* Existing Security Clearances (SC) would be desirable
