Data Engineer - 12 Months Contract - Rotational 28 x 28 - IraqEssential:- 3+ Years of Technical Experience working in Data Analytics or Data Management in Large Organization in Large Scale Data Management & Integration Projects. 8+ Years of Data Analytics & relevant IT experience (Masters in Computer Science in Data Analytics/Data Science is considered as part of the experience). Database Management Systems & best Practices (T-SQL; MDX; PLSQL; DAX;). Data Migration & ETL Projects (Preferred tools - SSIS). Data Analytics & Reporting tools (Power BI, SAP BI, SSRS, Cognos). Devising tools for data analytics using coding in Java, Python, R etc. Technical Development of Data Mining, Data Cleansing & Data Consolidation Projects. Strong Data Analysis experience
As a Data Engineer, you are expected to contribute at every stage of the Upstream value chain. This role has the potential to make a significant impact on how efficiently & effectively our business operates. The IT Data Engineer is expected to resolve Data analytics requirements while being in sync with the Data Governance policies. The Data Engineer is also expected to use their respective expertise to device & solve all the Data related issues in the organization
Data Engineer Key Accountabilities
Design & Drive Data Analytics requirements. Design complex analytics tools for Business users while maintaining the required standardization of reporting & processes. Assist Business users to gain expertise in End User analytics using tools such as Power BI etc.
Device & Utilize Data Management tools & techniques to support BAU (Business as Usual)
Perform Data mining, Trend analysis & Data analytics operations as per requirement.
Operate with the Data Service Lead's Data governance plans, procedures & policies
Analyse & organize raw data
Build data systems & pipelines
Evaluate business needs & objectives
Combine raw information from different sources
Explore ways to enhance data quality & reliability
