Description

Your Role
Work closely with stakeholders and project leads to explore and understand their required business outcomes
Challenge business propositions through clear reasoning and evidence, and constantly pushing for a user-centered approach whilst delivering on required business outcomes
Lead innovative, engaging and purposeful stakeholder workshops in order to shape the strategic direction of projects
Produce research, user personas, sketches, wireframes, user journeys, prototypes etc. to drive discussions, gain stakeholder approval and communicate designs to the project team
Communicate effectively with development teams, business analysts, and senior stakeholders
Work with the Head of User Experience to introduce new strategies and initiatives that will help to ensure the team continue to deliver outstanding work and business value
Essential Skills
Minimum 5 years professional UX design experience (in-house or client-side) and an academic background in a relevant field
A portfolio that demonstrates strategic thinking, UX process, and problem solving skills. This should include evidence of design for large campaigns or complex systems
The ability to quickly build and maintain strong working relationships
Succinct and efficient communication skills, including negotiation, influencing, and conflict resolution
Be autonomous, proactive and adaptable
You will have experience creating unified digital experiences across multiple channels
Desirable Skills
Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), mobile applications, and conversational interfaces
Understanding of the agile methodologies
Experience working in the financial sector
