Security Consultant
We are IT Recruitment Specialists partnered with a prestigious Global Consultancy who require a Security Consultant for one of their Public sector Clients. This role will be totally remote.

- Initial duration 5 months
- SC cleared or SC eligible
- IR35 - N/A currently, post April 5th the role will be deemed in scope of IR35
- Must be eligible to gain MPS clearance
Role and Task description -
Technical security discovery and requirements review for Threat, SIEM, SOAR, VM. See tools map for specific technologies.
Gap analysis of current service against our solution and response to gaps (fix, delay, sprint or project)
Engage Tenable PS for assistance in building of VM tool & integration to ITSM
Produce and agree high and low level designs for new vulnerability management tool and its interfaces
Detailed design, implementation and infosec. assurance of MSSP security functions/tools (Threat, SIEM, SOAR, VM)
Configuration of Threat and VM and of SIEM and SOAR if needed
Security testing according to test plan
Oversight of KT and training for run staff
Release and operational acceptance
Post commencement hyper care
