Front Office/Loans IT Business Analyst - Banking
A large prestigious, global financial institution have a number of projects at the moment and require an additional business analyst to join the team to support and shape delivery of client reporting capability across EMEA with a focus on delivering insight and analytics at both a client and portfolio level. You will act as interface to Front Office relationship managers and the IT technical systems reporting team.
The role will involve:
Acting as a technical bridge between Front Office and the bank reporting systems and contribute a blend of business and accounting knowledge as well as a strong understanding of system data flows, data structures and other analytical skills
Completing of data and management information workflows, including ongoing data integrity checks and assistance of other departments;
Support for data analysis for projects
Support the development of processes for relevant projects
BA support of other Department initiatives
You will require the following to be considered for the role:
Numerical and financial skills with the ability to interpret financial information and able to design and use financial models in a Front Office context
Excellent knowledge of Front Office functions within banking and good commercial banking product knowledge particularly pertaining to commercial/corporate loans but also areas such FX, derivatives, etc. Your CV must outline any loans experience as a Business Analyst.
Technical skills in data extraction and analysis techniques including MS Access and MS Excel (ie macros and pivot tables)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Awareness of IFRS and JGAAP reporting standards
Modelling analysis skills Front Office processes and products
Strong attention to detail
Prior experience working within a Front Office Commercial Banking environment and familiarity with accounting treatments for standard commercial banking products and derivatives
