Harvey Nash are working exclusively with a start-up organisation who are looking to recruit 2 contract Javascript Developers to work on their Greenfield platform.
We are shortlisting this week for developers to work on their large greenfield web & app platform. It's a great opportunity to be involved at the start of what is going to be a world class platform, you'll get to help define the technical approach & tools they use.
The processes and architecture that will need you to consider will include testing, logging and deployment. This is a great opportunity for somebody to put their own stamp on a development team and do things the way they want from day 1.
The role will initially be remote, but as the world returns to a new normal in coming months, there could be the opportunity to blend remote working with some work out of Central Manchester offices.
You will have proven commercial experience working within an agile environment delivering apps and PWA with a microservice architecture.
Key skills
* JavaScript, HTML, CSS
* ES6, React, (Gatsby a bonus), Redux, React-Router, Node.js
* Styled components (Pattern lab/Storybook)
* AWS (API gateway, Lambda, EC2, Appsync)
* Databases NoSQL and SQL
* Experience of TDD/BDD using CI tools.
* Understand component based design systems.
* Comfortable speccing and building microservices.
* Working understanding of microservice architecture and working with API's.
